Images

There has been (I don't know when) some rather over-enthusiastic addition of images, creating a rather unsightly clutter. Four images crammed into the lead section was particulary egregious. I have restored some sort of order to the article. Some of the added images were better than the originals, so I've kept these, but generally, I've reduced the number, relocated others, and hopefully restored a tidiness to the article's appearance.

May I suggest that, if an editor wishes to add an image, they don't just stick it in without thought to the presentation of the article? Images are supposed to illustrate, not dominate the text. There's always a case for adding better images, when they become available, but often this needs to be by replacement, rather than addition. Brianboulton (talk) 22:19, 26 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
